Warnings : The NCIS team in Atlantis. No better warning than that I suppose.
Disclaimers : NCIS is not mine, SGA is not mine. If they were, their clothes would be way shorter, tighter and thinner. And they’d be singing and dancing. A lot.
Beta’d? : Er, no. Takers?
Notes : All my ideas are starting to revolve around Fidelis strangely enough. This is supposed to be a few minutes before that.

Summary : Teyla is hit by a hurricane named Abby
“Hold the elevator!”
Teyla held a hand out before the doors of the transporter could close. There was a blur of black and khaki before Abby’s pigtails flounced into view. Slipping in and pressing a location, she turned and smiled happily at Teyla. “Thanks!”
“You are welcome.” Teyla offered, her eye still drawn to the pattern of the spider web on Abby’s neck. Looking up, Abby caught her looking and gave her a cheeky wink.
“Cool tat, hunh?” She then said, running her fingers down the pattern, her rings glinting in the strange Atlantean light. “Though, your boy Ronon has a really cool one too.”
“When asked, he simply states that it is a mark of a warrior.” The door opened and they both stepped out Pausing at the opening she turned and looked at Abby. “Is that what your ‘tat’ signifies?”
“Individuality, really.” Abby replied, looking at Teyla through hooded eyes. “Your body is a canvass and your life is your art.” She winked again before motioning to the hallway before them. “Are you going down to the infirmary as well?”
“Yes, I am on my way to speak to Dr. Beckett. We can walk together if you like.”
“Like I’d say no!” Abby exclaimed, linking arms with Teyla as they walked. “Heard you could lay the Colonel flat with your rhythm sticks, mind showing me that one of these days?”
The first time Teyla had met Abby, she had already expected that she would be far more stranger than any of the others from Earth had been, if the pale complexion, dark lips and silver wings were anything to go by. She did not exactly know how, but Abby still managed to individualize the plain uniforms that they wore for duty on Atlantis.
“I would be honored to teach you.” She replied, as she found it was getting easier to understand just what it was Abby was talking about as time went by. “I wondered if I may ask why you are going to the infirmary.”
Abby shrugged and the tips of her pigtails swung unto Teyla’s shoulders for that moment. “Not the infirmary per se, just going to pick up Dr. Biro.” She then smiled, one that Teyla was more used to finding on Dr. McKay when they found some sort of new technology. “Weir finally gave me permission to play with the Wraith bodies you’ve got down at the morgue. Or rather, help Dr. Biro with the analysis.” She waggled her eyebrows suggestively at Teyla, “But still, quality time is quality time.”
Teyla wasn’t sure if she was appalled or amused by that. She settled for mildly confused. “You believe that you will enjoy spending time with the Wraith corpses?”
“Well, besides the fact that when they’re alive they tend to do the entire Space Vampire schtick and that they look creepily like an ex-boyfriend of mine,” Abby conceded with a sideways bob of her head, making her pigtails spin around in the air near Teyla’s eyes. “Biro says that they’ve got really unique anatomy and physiology. I’m thinking of dragging Ducky down there as well. He’d get a kick out it.”
“Ducky?” Teyla asked, at a loss as to who she could be talking about. She didn’t know every single newcomer that came from the Deadalus, but she would have remembered a strangely named man like that.
“Dr. Mallard.” Abby stated. Off Teyla’s still bewildered look, she continued. “His name is Mallard. You know, Donald Duck? Mallard? Ducky?”
“I see.” Teyla simply said, even if it she clearly didn’t.
Abby paused and sighed. “Someone’s got to introduce you to the mind-rotting pleasure of cartoons.” Then she brightened up, “Tony! He’s got Loony Tunes stashed somewhere, I just know it.”
Teyla didn’t ask. She supposed she would end up finding out anyway. Besides, it could not be possibly more complicated than Football, as Sheppard managed to teach that to Jinto and the other boys in a remarkably short amount of time, with only one video tape and his patience going into the endeavor. With that in mind, she made a mental note to drag Ronon into this, kicking and screaming if she had to.
“Yo, Ducky!” Abby called out, breaking Teyla out of her reverie. They were already nearing the infirmary as Dr. Mallard was stepping out. “Weir let me check out the dead vampires! Come with?”
Dr. Mallard gave Abby an indulgent smile as they approached. “Unfortunately, I must beg to be excused from playing Giles to your Buffy at this moment; Jethro is expecting me in the control room.”
“The Big Cheese up there already? Hope he’s had his coffee.” Abby gave him a thumbs-up. “Also, you’re cuter than Giles. Way cooler too.”
“Ah, but he can sing much better than I.” He gave them both a nod before walking to the transporter.
“That, my alien pal, was Ducky.” Abby then said, with a mischievous smile.
Teyla could only smile and wordlessly nod her understanding.
“Look, I’m going to go fetch Biro now and the Doc is right there.” Abby smiled sweetly. “How about we meet up in my quarters after dinner? I think I can wheedle a few cartoons out of Tony that we can watch.”
“I would like that. I was wondering if Ronon would also appreciate these cartoons.”
Something flashed in Abby’s eyes that was too quick for Teyla to read, what was left was simply Abby’s guileless smile. “Sure, what the heck, the more the merrier.” With one last wink, she sashayed away.
Carson had seen their parting exchange and approached Teyla. “Quite an experience, isn’t she?”
Teyla shook her head, smiling despite her confusion. Abby’s short conversation left her like the remains of the hurricane.
Cartoons tonight it is, she thought to her self with a smile as she turned to speak to Carson.

This is so Abby & Ducky - I love it. :) You were right in titling this Hurricane Abby.
The only thing to do is just to smile and go with the flow when she's running full steam like this. *laugh*
